PURPOSE: To provide the process for production of such inlay articles which form harmoniously integral patterns with a body part and ornamenting part.
CONSTITUTION: This process consists of a stage S1 for forming a prototype of a ring having the body part and the ornamenting part by using silver, a stage S3 for forming at least two pieces of wax patterns having the same shape from the prototype of the silver, a stage S4 for forming castings of silver from the respective wax patterns, a stage S5 for forming a rubber mold from the one casting and a stage S6 for forming the prototype of the ornamenting part by separating the other casting to the body part and the ornamenting part and working the ornamenting part. Further, the process consists of a stage S8 for forming the wax patterns of the same shape from the prototype of the ornamenting part, a stage S9 for forming the casting of the ornamenting part by using high m.p. platinum from the wax pattern of the ornamenting part, a stage S10 for setting the casting of the ornamenting part in the rubber mold and forming the wax pattern attached with the casting and a stage S11 for casting the ring by using 18 gold having the m.p. lower than the m.p. of the casting of the ornamenting part from the wax pattern attached with the casting.
