PURPOSE: To prevent that the perforation parts of a prepreg are clogged with a flowing resin during curing by filling the perforation parts of a molding material composed of a composite material having perforation parts preformed thereto and consisting of a reinforcing fiber and a matrix resin with a casting resin through a resin membrane to cure the resin under heating and pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A prepreg 3 is formed from a reinforcing fabric composed of a glass fiber or a carbon fiber and a matrix resin such as an epoxy resin. The perforation parts 4 of the prepreg 3 is preliminarily filled with a casting resin 2 through a resin membrane 5 or filled therewith to be cured. By this method, it is prevented that the matrix resin in the prepreg 3 flows to enter the perforation parts 4 to close them. The prepreg 3 thus prepared is cured under heating to be molded and, after molding, the casting resin 2 and the resin membrane 5 are peeled off to produce a perforated face plate made of a composite material while the perforation parts 4 are held as they are.
