To develop excellent adhesive capacity without sacrificing the pot life originally possessed by an adhesive by laminating the surface coated with a primer of a resin sheet or film to the surface coated with an adhesive of a metal plate.
A soln. prepared by adding 1.0 pts.wt. di-n-butyl tin dilaurate being a curing accelerator for a polyester type adhesive to 100 pts.wt. solid of a polyolefinic primer soln. is applied to the single surface of a polypropylene film by a bar coater and dried to form a primer layer. A solvent type polyester adhesive is applied to the single surface of a molten zinc plated steel plate and the coated surface is heated and dried to form an adhesive layer. While the surface temp. of the steel plate is held to 200°C, the surface coated with the primer of the polypropylene film is superposed on the coated surface of the adhesive and the steel plate and the film are laminated by a roll laminator and cooled to obtain a resin coated metal plate being a product.
