Title:
PRODUCTION OF SURFACE-TREATED STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT IN CORROSION RESISTANCE AND LUBRICITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3177040
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a surface-treated steel sheet having corrosion resistance and lubricity by treating a hot-dip coated steel sheet with a reaction-type chromating soln. and then with a coating-type chromating soln. contg. a water- dispersible resin and a lubricant.
CONSTITUTION: A hot-dip coated steel sheet is treated with a chromating soln. contg. about 1-200g/l of total chromium and about 0.1-5.0g/l of fluorine compd. (HF, etc.). A coating-type chromating soln. contg. 1-20g/l of total chromium (Cr3++Cr6+), 20-500g/l of water-dispersible org. resin (acrylic resin, urethane resin, etc.), 2-10mass% of nonionic emulsifier (polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, etc.) in which the ratio of the hydrophilic to oleophilic materials is controlled to ≥12, 0.05-3.0mass% of a silicone-modified polyether antifoaming agent and 2-25 mass% of a polymer resin (PE, PP, etc.) having ≥100°C m.p. is then applied thereon and dried.
