Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a town gas provided with a desired calorific value without using a gas raw material at the addition side to be used for adjusting a calorific value or with reducing the amount of the gas raw material even in the case of using the raw material gas, comprising a specific natural gas having a controlled calorific value.
SOLUTION: The objective calorific value of a liquid-phase natural gas 1 is adjusted to a desired target calorific value by controlling the pressure and the temperature of a natural gas 3 in a vapor-liquid compatible phase state. The liquid-phase natural gas 1 is separated to give a natural gas having an adjusted calorific value. The obtained natural gas having the adjusted calorific value is used as a main raw material to give a town gas. Preferably, the liquefied natural gas 1 is mixed with a natural gas 2 to give the natural gas 3 in a vapor-liquid compatible phase state.
