The projection lens 46 comprises a zoom lens 461 for adjusting a zoom state of a projection image that is displayed on the screen Sc by moving along an optical axis direction of the projection lens 46. A controller 5 comprises: position acquiring means 52; correction value acquiring means 53; and an image quality adjusting section 542. The position acquiring means 52 acquires a position of the zoom lens 461. The correction value acquiring means 53 acquires a correction value for correcting hue of image information according to the position of the zoom lens 461 having been acquired by the position acquiring means 52. The image quality adjusting section 542 corrects the hue of the image information based on the correction value having been acquired by the correction value acquiring means 53.
