Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize satisfactory hold correction suitable for S/N controlling the feedback quantity of a signal feedback circuit in accordance with the level of a detected noise and the output of a level detector of a noise reduction decoding circuit. CONSTITUTION:A resistance value R2 of a variable resistance 32 is controlled by a collector current Ir of a transistor T3, and the value of the collector current Ir is determined by a level-detected smoothed output voltage Vw at a point W of a noise reduction decoding circuit 6 and an output voltage VN of a noise detector 35. As the result, the resistance value R2 is reduced and the feedback quantity of a signal feedback line 36 is increased according as the frequency of an audio signal is higher and the level is higher and S/N is better, but the resistance value R2 is increased and the feedback line of the signal feedback line 36 is reduced according as the frequency is lower and the level is lower and S/N is worse. Consequently, proper hold correction is preformed in accordance with the frequency, the level, and S/N of the audio signal, and a good tone quality of less hearing noise is obtained.
