Abstract:
To provide a pump freezing prevention system for an earth removal device of a vehicle that can prevent a pump from being frozen to break by automatically draining the pump under certain conditions according to a fall in ambient temperature of the earth removal device of the vehicle and an operation state, according to the present invention.SOLUTION: A pump freezing prevention system 1 according to the present invention has: a temperature sensor 11 which detects an ambient temperature of an earth removal device of a vehicle; an operation state checking sensor 12 which checks an operation state of the earth removal device of the vehicle; and drain valve opening drive means 21 which receives a temperature signal from the temperature sensor 11 and an operation state signal from the operation state checking sensor 12, and drains water in a pump unit in a resting state as the operation state on condition that the ambient temperature is equal to or lower than a certain temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
