Abstract:
To provide a pure water regeneration method and a pure water regeneration apparatus that improve a regeneration step to reduce an amount of pure water used in the regeneration step, thereby reducing the capacity of a pure water tank for storing pure water for regeneration and the capacity of a regeneration pump for sending the pure water for regeneration to reduce the pure water production cost, so that the pure water can be produced efficiently.SOLUTION: In an ion exchange step, raw water is subjected to removal of a cation component in a cation exchange tower 1, carbon dioxide is removed in a decarboxylation tower 2, an anion component is removed in an anion exchange tower 3 to produce pure water. In a regeneration step, an acid solution is sucked and mixed from an acid solution tank 6 in a process of supplying decarbonated water from a decarbonated water storage tank 2b to the cation exchange tower 1, then an acid regenerant is prepared, and a cation exchange resin layer 1a is regenerated. Further, in a process of supplying pure water from the pure water tank 5 to the anion exchange tower 3, an alkaline liquid is sucked and mixed from an alkaline liquid tank 7 and dissolved, then an alkali regenerant is prepared, and an anion exchange resin layer 3a is regenerated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
