Abstract:

To obtain a quick hardening type water permeable concrete having excellent water permeability, high flexural strength and excellent development of early age strength.

This quick hardening type water permeable concrete is produced by molding a mixed/kneaded material of a composition comprising coarse aggregate and paste or mortar or which a volume ratio thereof to the coarse aggregate is 30 to 80%. The paste or mortar comprises 100 pts.wt. of a hydraulic material, 0 to 150 pts.wt. of fine aggregate, 0.1 to 2.0 pts.wt. of a water reducing agent and 15 to 30 pts.wt. of water. The hydraulic material is a quick hardening cement comprising 20 to 60 wt.% of a clinker consisting mainly of calcium sulfoaluminate, 20 to 70 wt.% of a Portland cement clinker, 0.5 to 30 wt.% of anhydrous gypsum, 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% of an alkali metal carbonate and 0.05 to 4.0 wt.% of an organic acid, wherein molar ratio of SO3/Al2O3 is 1.0 to 1.4.
