Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply and economically obtain the subject compd. of high purity useful as an antihypertensive by reacting an isothiourea derivative and a specific amine at a specific temp.
CONSTITUTION: An isothiourea deriv. represented by formula I (wherein R is a lower alkyl or a phenyl lower alkyl) and an amine represented by formula II (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or a lower alkyl or bonded to form ethylene or trimethylene and (n) is 2 or 3) are reacted at 150-280°C or a compd. represented by formula III is cyclized in the coexistence of a catalyst to obtain the objective compd. represented by formula IV. The compd. represented by formula III is a novel material.
