Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image reader capable of appropriately detecting emitted light while reducing noise caused by dark current.SOLUTION: A radiation image reader 20 comprises: a MEMS mirror 4 irradiating a recording medium on which an image is recorded with excitation light for scanning; a photo-detection element 6 including a plurality of channels including a photo diode array 10 as one channel, and detecting emitted light generated from a position at which the recording medium is irradiated with the excitation light; a MEMS mirror drive circuit 15 determining the channel corresponding to the position at which the recording medium is irradiated with the excitation light as a channel for detecting the emitted light from among the channels; and a read circuit 12 reading an emitted light detection result from the channel determined by the MEMS mirror drive circuit 15.
