Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration apparatus for trimming losses of nonwoven fabric which recovers the trimming loss which is cut off from nonwoven-fabric base paper and regenerates it to nonwoven fabric.
SOLUTION: This regeneration apparatus is composed of a trimming loss- recovering unit 10 for collecting trimming losses from a suction part 11 by a recovery fan 15 and cutting them by a cutter 14; a trimming loss-supplying unit 20 for piling the cut pieces of the trimming losses in a piling section 21, transferring them by a piling section feed roll 25 and a supplying conveyor 22, and pressing and transferring them by a press roll 23; a trimming-loss opening unit 30 for opening the trimming losses fed at a constant speed by a feed roll 31 in an opening section 32 to lead to regenerated cotton; and a cotton- sending unit 40 for transferring, under suction, the regenerated cotton in the opening section 32 by a cotton-sending fan 41 and mixing it with raw cotton in a specified ratio in a cotton-mixing section 44.
