Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively correct an error of data by calculating an information signal, an ECC parity code by a reverse reproduction if the error is generated at the time of reproducing information, and decoding the signal. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 14 estimates, if a signal has a dropout, the error position of a read signal, and reversely rotates a motor 12, if decoding by an ECC parity code is possible from the position, through a card feeder 15 to feed the card reversely. The CPU 14 reproduces the code, a CRC, data from the read signal from a recorder/reproducer 13, establishes data except the error position, and calculates the data by the code to correct the error of the data, thereby decoding correctly reproduced data.
