This electrophotographic toner consists essentially of a bonding resin and a colorant. The bonding resin is a copolymer of one or more kinds of monomers selected from among arom. vinyl, acrylic ester, methacrylic ester and maleic monoester monomers with one or more kinds of monomers selected from among acrylic ester, methacrylic ester and maleic ester monomers each having an aliphatic amine-contg. side chain and the wt. average mol.wt. (Mw) and glass transition temp. (Tg) of the bonding resin satisfy a certain condition.
