PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that accuracy and quickness are lacked when information of congestion, accidents, and fallen objects on a road is summarized to a collection device by a fixed-point observation device and manual information collection means, and events are manually inputted to a traffic information monitoring control processor and displayed in a display body.SOLUTION: A road traffic control system includes a control center, a traffic information monitoring control processor, a congestion determination processor, and a display body. The control center summarizes various kinds of input information and inputs events to the traffic information monitoring control processor manually, and the processor is connected to the display body and connected to the congestion determination processor by on-line. The congestion determination processor has a function of congestion determination processing on the basis of data of the own vehicle position confirmation of a probe car by GSP and running velocity at the own vehicle position, and is equipped with an automatic transmission device. The display body provides required information with image or voice as a medium, the processor has the events, the order of priority of various kinds of information from the automatic transmission device, and the function of the display body determination, and the processor sends the information of the order of priority to the display body.
