Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate film chips stuck to the tip of a rotary blade so as to prevent the adhesion of chips to a cut film by wiping the tip of the rotary blade in a rotary cutter in the longitudinal direction of the blade by a cleaner.
CONSTITUTION: When a rotary blade 17 is stopped in a cleaning position, a wire 42 is driven in the clockwise direction of a pulley 30B by an electronic motor 44 through the pulley 30B. Then a cleaner holding member 32 is moved to the right. When this cleaner holding member 32 is separated from the position of a cleaner pressing member 48, a lever 46 is pushed out in the semi-clockwise direction by a spring 46B, so that a cleaner 34 comes in contact with the blade tip of the rotary blade 17. When the cleaner holding member 32 is further driven in this contact state, the cleaner 34 wipes film chips stuck to the blade tip of the rotary blade 17.
