To provide a rotation transmitting device capable of reliably determining unlocking of a two-way roller clutch.
A plurality of wedge spaces which are made narrow toward both ends in a circumferential direction are spaced in the circumferential direction between opposed radial faces of an inner ring 12 and an outer ring 11. An electromagnetic clutch 40 controlling locking and unlocking of a two-way roller clutch 10 is provided on one side of the two-way roller clutch 10 for holding rollers 25 incorporated in the respective wedge spaces with retainers 19A, 19B. A first rotation sensor S1 detecting rotation of an input shaft 15 is provided around the input shaft 15, and a second rotation sensor S2 detecting rotation of an output shaft 14 is provided around the output shaft 14. It is determined whether the two-way roller clutch 10 is unlocked depending on whether there is a rotation difference between rotation signals output from the first rotation sensor S1 and the second rotation sensor S2.
