To provide a rough rolling mill for metallic sheet capable of preventing the occurrence of skew between rolls in addition to the reduction of equipment investment cost and obtaining the intermediate material of the metallic sheet suppressive in a nose camber in the final stand of a rough rolling mill, which is composed of a four-high mill and performs a one-way rolling.

The rough rolling mill for metallic sheet is provided with upper and lower work roll chocks 3a, in which shims 5 having a role as an offset regulating member are mounted on the surfaces on the inlet sides in the rolling direction of the operation side and drive side of the work rolls so that upper and lower work rolls 1a are arranged offsetting by a predetermined amount of offset on the outlet side to upper and lower back up rolls.
