Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition useful for raw materials of a vulcanized rubber suitable for a tread, etc., of a tire having an excellent performance on ice.
SOLUTION: The rubber composition consists of a rubber matrix containing a rubber component comprising at least one kind selected from natural rubber and diene based synthetic rubber and foaming agent containing fibers which contains a resin having viscosity lower than that of the rubber matrix until the temperature reaches to the maximum vulcanizing temperature in vulcanization process and 10 to 150 pts.wt. of the foaming agent per 100 pts.wt. of the resin. The preferable modes of the composition are, the resin contains a crystalline polymer, the crystalline polymer is a polyethylene; 1 to 60 pts.wt. of the polymer in the foaming agent containing fibers is contained per 100 pts.wt. of the rubber composition, etc.
