Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an endless saw blade to be attached positively and automatically or removed in an efficient manner to or from both driving and driven wheels installed in a saw blade housing of a vertical band sawing machine, by way of example, as the band saw.
CONSTITUTION: This is a band saw changer 25 of a band sawing machine, attaching or raving an endless band sawblade T to or from both driving and driven wheels 9 and 11 separately provided in a sawblade housing 7 of a vertical band saw 1, by way of example, as the band sawing machine, and it is featured that a handling holder 33 equipped with a handling part 35 with two clamps 18a, 183 supporting the band sawblade T detachably at a position corresponding to a position approximated to these wheels 9 and 11 is installed in the sawblade housing 7 free of longitudinal motion.
