To provide a scaly zinc powder-containing composition capable of sufficiently exhibiting corrosion control and whiteness in a coated film.SOLUTION: A scaly zinc powder-containing composition is a composition containing scaly zinc powder and a dispersant, in which the dispersant contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a barium compound, a titanium compound and silica, a L* value in a CIELAB color system when the composition is measured by a spectral colorimeter is higher than the L* value of a simple mixture of the scaly zinc powder and the dispersant having the same blending ratio as the composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
