Abstract:
To provide a homogeneous, tough, thickness-controlled dense thin film capable of improving the sensitivity of a photoreceptor.
A self-organized polymer thin film obtained by adsorption of an alkyleneammonium monoalkylmaleate/alkyl vinyl ether alternating copolymer, an alkylenemaleimide/alkyl vinyl ether alternating copolymer or an alkylene(meth)acrylate polymer on a metal oxide layer on a substrate through siloxane bonds is a homogeneous, tough, dense thin film whose thickness is easily controllable and has a significant effect of improving the sensitivity of a photoreceptor such as an electrophotographic one.
