To provide a separator for a fuel cell capable of eliminating positional displacement of a gas flow passage against gas supply and an exhaust manifold at the time of intermediate plate set, stabilizing supply and exhaust of gas by making a gas flow passage width uniform, and suppressing formation of pressure loss variations.
By pinching an intermediate plate 13 by both plates of a cathode side and an anode side, a separator positioning convex parts 51, 52 are installed at the separator for the fuel cell to form a coolant flow passage. Regarding supply of a fuel gas, a set position of the intermediate plate 13 is decided, the positioning convex parts 51, 52 are installed so as to arrange a plurality of communication parts 74 to communicate between a fuel gas supply manifold 24 penetrating the respective plates and a hole part 29 formed in the anode side plate 14, and the gas flow passage width in the plurality of communication parts 74 are made uniform. As for supply and exhaust of other gases, the plurality of communication parts are aligned by installing the positioning convex part in a similar way, and the gas flow passage width in the plurality of communication parts against the gas supply and the exhaust manifold are made uniform.
