Abstract:
To provide a separator for a lithium ion secondary battery having an excellent discharge rate characteristic and having an overcharge prevention function as well.
This separator for a lithium ion secondary battery is composed by stacking sheets each formed of an assembly of a fiber having a fiber diameter not greater than 2 μm and a fiber length not less than 20 μm on both surfaces of a mesh-like sheet.
