Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for the alignment of sheets of paper and reduce the burden on the operator.
SOLUTION: Upper stacked sheets 10B are received by a fork temporarily while lower stacked sheets 10A as the next pieces are laid on a stacking table movable in the E-F direction and elevated. The third switch 58 and the first 54 and the second switch 56 to sense the side edges of the sheets 10B and 10A, respectively, are located approx. in the same phase in the E-F direction. These switches 58, 54, 56 are supported by the same moving member movable in the E-F direction. The first switch 54 senses the sheet alignment of the sheets 10A relative to the sheets 10B where the sheets 10A are retreated oppositely to the switch 54 farther than the sheets 10B, while the second switch 56 senses the sheet alignment of the sheets 10A relative to the sheets 10B where the sheets 10A are protruded toward the switch 56 from the sheets 10B.
