PURPOSE: To facilitate the smooth transport of a shuttle, by providing a plurality of permanent magnets on a shuttle running through a circular shuttle-guiding channel, providing electromagnets on the guiding channel and switching the excitation states of the electromagnets.

CONSTITUTION: A shuttle guide 2 is arranged around a core material in circular form. A yarn beam to supply a yarn to be arranged in radial direction in the three-dimensional circular fabric, a yarn beam to supply a longitudinal yarn to be arranged in axial direction in the fabric and an opening apparatus for the beam, etc., are arranged at the outside of the shuttle guide. The shuttle 1 is provided with plurality of permanent magnets 25 at the front and the rear sides of the shuttle. The guiding channel 20 of the shuttle guide 2 is furnished with electromagnets 26 to keep the shuttle 21 in floating state in cooperation with the permanent magnet and to apply a driving force to the shuttle. The excitation of the electromagnet 26 is switched according to the position of the shuttle 21.
