Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side door structure of a vehicle capable of improving running safety by protecting occupants from side collision or face collision while securely receiving collision load.
SOLUTION: A side door 11 is supported at its front end to be rotationally movable on the side pillar 16 on a body side with a door hinge 15. The front end of an impact bar 20 extending into the side door 11 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle is joined to the impact bar joint 23 of a bracket 21, the hinge mounting joint 22 at the front end of the bracket 21 is joined to the hinge mount of a hinge panel and the inner panel connection 24 at the rear end is joined to the indoor wall 12b of the inner panel 12.
