Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL FOR COLOR FILTER AND FORMING METHOD OF COLOR FILTER USING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3529492
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a color filter having a small film thickness, low turbidity of colors, and red, green and blue parts of excellent transmission characteristics, and moreover, to provide a color filter having a black part with high optical density and little defects which can be produced without requiring a complicated process and is suitable for mass production.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photosensitive material for a color filter has at least three silver halide emulsion layers having couplers and different sensitivity for colors and non-photosensitive intermediate layers formed by coating on a supporting body. The total amt. of the binder in this photosensitive material is 3-10g/m2. The equiv. ratio of silver halide to the coupler in each silver halide emulsion layer is between 1-2 and the average particle size of each silver halide emulsion is 0.05-0.9μm. The obtd. silver halide photosensitive material is exposed to light according to the pattern and subjected to color development and desilverizing treatment to obtain a color filter having blue, green and red pixel patterns.
