PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spherical particles consisting of a sugar alcohol, sodium chloride, vitamin C, etc., and useful for a granulation coating in medicine manufacturing and for a food.
SOLUTION: The spherical particles consist of spheres obtained by granulating particles containing ≥95 wt. % water soluble single substance and having ≤1.2 aspect ratio, ≥0.65 g/ml bulk density of aggregate and ≤35° angle of repose, and is characterized with that (1) the water soluble single substance consists of 1 kind selected from the sugar alcohol, vitamin C and sodium chloride, (2) the viscosity of a saturated aqueous solution of the water soluble single substance is ≤10 cps within 25-45°C range, and (3) the spherical particles have ≤1.0 % degree of abrasion.
