The mechanism is provided with the slide barrier of camera (27), a 1st sensor for detecting that the slide barrier (27) is manually operated from the closed position to the open position, a 2nd sensor for detecting that the slide barrier (27) is fully open, and a shape memory alloy spring, one end of which is supported by the camera main body, and the other end of which is supported by the slide barrier (27), and which deforms so as to drive the slide barrier (27) in the opening direction as heated up to a prescribed temperature, and is characterized in that the shape memory alloy member is heated based on the detection result of the 1st sensor and released from being heated based on the detection result of the 2nd sensor.
