Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide unit having functions to rotate round a shaft and slide in the axial direction while the arrangement remains in a single unit, having a high load capacity, and capable of allowing the functions to exert independently without interference of the rotating motion with sliding motion.
SOLUTION: A housing 1 rotatable through bearing is installed around a shaft, and outside the housing 1, a cylindrical slider 6 slidable in the axial direction is installed through a plurality of rollers (ball bearing) 7 to make rolling contact with the peripheral surface of the housing 1, and there also a rotation checking member (ball bearing) 4 is installed protruding in the radial direction from the peripheral surface of the housing 1 and inserted into a long hole 6c as guide provided in a slider 6, which is thereby made rotatable relative to the shaft and slidable in the axial direction.
