Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil evaluation device capable of evaluating rapidly, safely, and ecomincally conditions of cutting faces, ground, etc., in an excavation work of unsolidified ground, an embankment, a ground improving work, etc.
SOLUTION: A cone penetration means (10) is constituted of a penetration bar (2) formed of a cone tip (3) and a double tube rod (4) and a hydraulic cylinder (5) by which the penetration bar (2) is forced to penetrate into a cutting face or a ground. The cone penetration means (10) is attached to a construction machine ordinarily used in an excavating site and the hydraulic cylinder (5) of the cone penetration means (10) is driven by the hydraulic device of the construction machine (M) and means (7, 8) for detecting a penetration resistance of the penetration bar (2) and a penetration depth are provided in the cone penetration means (10).
