Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improving method of highly moisture-containing earth capable of revealing strength suitable for effective use and capable of obtaining improved earth for reducing a load to a peripheral environment. SOLUTION: In this soil improving method for obtaining improved earth by adding/agitating a soil improving material to/in highly moisture-containing earth, the soil improving material is composed of a clay substance for physically absorbing water contained in the highly moisture-containing earth, a self- hardening substance for self-hardening in the presence of water and a pH adjusting substance added when necessary to adjust pH of the improved earth to the vicinity of neutral. The soil improving material uses the clay substance as a main component, and is composed of an inorganic compound.
