Title:
SOLID OXIDE TYPE FUEL CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007149547
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a solid oxide type fuel cell which can form a solid electrolyte substrate using a burned material of an electrolyte powder, as well as ensure simplified manufacturing process control for a fuel cell, improvement of thermal shock resistance at the time of power generation, and reduced manufacturing costs.

The solid oxide type fuel cell has a solid electrolyte substrate 11 formed of a burned material of an electrolyte powder with a cathode electrode layer 12 on one side and an anode electrode layer 13 on the other side. Metal meshes M1 and M2 are attached to the cathode electrode layer side and the anode electrode layer side, respectively. The metal meshes are plane-pressurized to both sides of an electrolyte plate material in the given shape which is made of an electrolyte green sheet, then a paste layer for the cathode electrode is formed on one side of the electrolyte plate material and a paste layer for the anode electrode is formed on the other side. Subsequently, the electrolyte plate material, paste layer for the cathode electrode and paste layer for the anode electrode are burned integrally. Upon completion of such a burning, the solid oxide type fuel cell is achieved.
