To surely execute the biting of a film by preventing the sagging occurring due to the own weight of the film in the vicinity of an introducing port of a tenter.
Tenter clips 21a, 21b travel along rails 31, 32 while gripping the end parts on both sides of the film 14 and convey the film 14 in the tenter 20. An air floater 36 is arranged at a position which is on the lower side of the introducing port 35 of the tenter 20 and sandwiched between the rails 31, 32. The film 14 is introduced to the tenter 20 in a state of being supported from downward by the blowing from the air floater 36 and preventing the occurrence of the sagging at the center part. The film 14, which is introduced to the tenter 20 in a state of having high flatness, can be surely bitten by the tenter clips 21a, 21b.
