Title:
SPEED CHANGE CONTROL FOR CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63284040
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the dispersion of responsiveness due to the temperature variation of working oil by settig the gain of a differential means high when the temperature of the working oil in a continuously variable transmission is low, in a PID (proportion, integration, differential) operation means for correcting the deviation for the aimed value such as engine speed. CONSTITUTION:The PID operation means is constituted of a proportional means 11 having a gain Kp, differentiation means 12 having a gain Kd, and an integeration means 13 having a gain Ki. Each output signal of the PID operation means is added and input into an operation part 5, and the operation part 5 outputs the operation quantity corresponding to the input signal, into a continuously variable transmission 3. Then, the deviation between the control quantity and the aimed quantity is input into the PID operation means, and the deviation is corrected. In this case, the gain Kd of the differential means 12 is set so as to reduce as the temperature of the working oil in the continuously variable transmission 3 rises. In other words, the gain Kd of the differential means 12 is increased at the low temperature, and the signal for accelerating the response operation is input into the operation part 5, and the delay of response of the operation part 5 is offset.
