To retain ion balance of positive ions and negative ions generated from a static eliminator.
A power source part 1 and a power source control device 3 are connected by a connection wire 2. An output side of the power source control device 3 is connected to a high-voltage generation circuit 4 of a positive side and a high-voltage generation circuit 5 of a negative side. The high-voltage generation circuit 4 of the positive side is connected to an electrode needle 6 on a positive side, and the high-voltage generation circuit 5 of the negative side is connected to an electrode needle 7 on a negative side. Ions generated from the electrode needles of the positive and negative sides are sprayed onto an object by a fan 8. The power source control device 3 determines a polarity and a size of a static charged potential of the object by a signal of a detection resistance 10 connected to a grounding line 9, and controls an output voltage of the high-voltage generation circuits of positive and negative sides so as to retain the ion balance of the object.
