Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform lock action of a steering lock mechanism though performing its unlock according to whether reading is provided or not of an ID code from a portable memory carrier.
SOLUTION: In a control device 4, in an unlock condition of a steering lock mechanism 17, in the case that a driver having an ID tag 1 gets off, only in the case of materializing a preset lock condition of the steering lock mechanism 17, it is locked through a steering lock actuator 17a, also switched to a condition inhibiting an engine start through an engine control ECU 21, in the case of an ignition switch 15 except in an off-position, the ignition switch 15 is moved to the off-position through a key lock actuator 19.
