To easily realize a stereoscopic picture, which is obtained conventionally only by a special exclusive stereo camera, as a stereoscopic panoramic picture or a stereoscopic photograph or a stereoscopic video provided with a zoom picture or the like dependent upon the zoom function of a camera by attaching a simple adapter to a conventional still camera or video camera.

An optical system having a combined constitution of objective concave lenses Z1L to Z1R and eyepiece convex lenses Z2L to Z2R is used for a function which constitutes a stereoscopic unit picture where right and left stereoscopic picture information are combined into one picture, as an adapter. This adapter is attached to the front of a general camera like a still camera or a video camera, thus realizing a small-sized and easy stereoscopic picture input system.
