To provide a straightening machine which can adjust a gap between upper and lower straightening rolls when straightening a steel plate and achieves easy maintenance.
A straightening machine 10 includes: upper and lower straightening roll groups 15 and 16 which have an upper straightening roll 11 and a lower straightening roll 12 arranged side by side; and backup rolls 13a to 13k and 14a to 14k which are arranged in parallel along axes of the upper straightening roll 11 and the lower straightening roll 12 and arranged having gaps along the axis directions of the upper straightening roll 11 and the lower straightening roll 12, and the straightening machine straightens a steel plate 17 by the upper and lower straightening roll groups 15 and 16. The backup rolls 13a to 13k and 14a to 14k are provided on eccentric rings 19 and 22 fixed to drive shafts 18 and 21 penetrating the backup rolls 13a to 13k and 14a to 14k, through bearings 20 and 23. Height positions of the backup rolls 13a to 13k and 14a to 14k are predicted when the steel plate 17 is straightened, and are adjusted in accordance with deformation of the upper straightening roll 11 and the lower straightening roll 12.
