Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the increase in the number of labor and the increase in the size in the case a power source is connected to a liquid crystal display device constituted by superposing and fixing a back light plate provided with light sources, such as light emitting diodes, to the rear surface of a liquid crystal display element formed by superposing two sheets of transparent plates by encapsulating liquid crystals therebetween.
SOLUTION: Electrodes 10a, 10b for the power source formed in a projecting part 1a' disposed at one transparent plate 1a of both transparent plates of the liquid crystal display element 1 and electrodes 11a, 11b for the power sources formed at the back light plate 7 are electrically connected to each other by connecting pieces 13 interposed between the protruding part 1a' and the back light plate 7, by which the power sources are connected to the back light plate 7 simultaneously with the connection of the power source to the liquid crystal display element 1.
