USE: An enhancer for antibacterial action for enhancing antibacterial action of antibiotic.

PROCESS: For example, a bacterium (e.g., Pseudomonas acidophila G-6302 strain, etc.) belonging to the genus Pseudomonas, capable of producing a compound shown by the formula II, is inoculated into a medium, cultivated, and the compound shown by the formula II is formed and accumulated in the culture which is collected.
