Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high temperature/high pressure superheated steam while preventing high temperature corrosion of a boiler tube as caused by chlorine.
SOLUTION: This superheated steam making apparatus has a thermal decomposition means 1 (for thermal decomposition reaction within a space at a temp. of at least 300°C), a char combustion means 10, a first steam making means 24 (for obtaining steam at a temp. of at most 400°C) and a second steam making means 20. A thermal decomposition gas combustion means 31/34 (generating high temperature of at least 1,300°C) is arranged between the first thermal decomposition means 1 and the first steam making means 24 to melt and separate ash components while burning a thermal decomposition gas. Moreover, a part of the thermal decomposition gas obtained by the thermal decomposition means 1 is branched off to be supplied to the inlet side of the thermal decomposition means 1.
