Abstract:
To provide a superconducting coil that suppresses the occurrence of thermal runaway or quench and that can perform conduction cooling using a heat transfer plate.SOLUTION: A superconducting coil 10 includes a winding member 12 having a pair of winding side surfaces 18 along a winding radial direction and formed such that a superconducting wire rod is wound and laminated in the radial direction of the winding, and a detour 19 provided on one of winding side surface portions 18 of the winding member 12 to electrically connect the superconducting wires of different turns to each other in the radial direction, and a heat transfer plate 17 that is electrically insulated from the winding member 12 via an insulating plate 16 is provided on the other winding side surface portion 18 where the detour 19 of the winding member 12 is not provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
