Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010028904
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a superconducting motor in which the cooling structure of a superconducting coil is simplified by using the superconducting coil as a coil for generating a magnetic field on the rotor side and so configuring the superconducting coil that it is not rotated together with a rotating shaft.

The superconducting motor includes a field-side rotor and an armature-side stator positioned around the circumferential surface of the field-side rotor. A superconducting coil is used as the field coil of the field-side rotor and this superconducting coil is fit and fixed on a fixed shaft placed on the center line. A cooling container for housing the superconducting coil is attached to the outer circumferential surface of the fixed shaft and an inductor to be a rotor is rotatably placed around the outer circumferential surface of the cooling container. The rotation output shaft of the rotor is placed on the central axis line separately from the fixed shaft.
