Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film having good releasability from a material to be coated in the case of further releasing without contamination of an etchant liquid and an alkali solution and without hydrolysis of a surface of a base material in an etching step or a resist removing step at the time of manufacturing a shadow mask.
SOLUTION: In the surface protective film comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive layer formed on a base material film containing 70% or more of a polypropylene resin, the adhesive layer is obtained by crosslinking a copolymer of a (meta)acrylic ester monomer and a vinyl monomer having a functional group with a crosslinker capable of being reacted with the group, a glass transition temperature obtained by a Fox's formula of 1/Tgmix=(W1/Tg1)+(W2/Tg2)+... (wherein Tgmix is a Tg (glass transition point) of a copolymer, Tg1, Tg2,... are Tgs of first monomer, second monomer,..., W1, W2, W3,... are weight fractions of the first monomer, second monomer,...) of the copolymer is -25 to -10°C, and a solvent insoluble fraction of the layer is 83 wt.% or more.
