PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated aluminum material excellent in joining property to a resin and the like, and to provide a surface-treated aluminum/resin composite material which is also in excellent in secondary joining strength, and can be applied, for instance, to an automobile member.SOLUTION: There is provided a surface-treated aluminum material that has a surface treatment layer having an uneven portion and in which an equivalent circle diameter of the recess is 1-40 nm, a specific surface in the surface treatment layer is 0.005 m/g or more, and surface free energy is 50 mN/m or more; and a surface-treated aluminum/resin composite material in which a thermoplastic resin is joined to the surface treatment layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
