Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating agent for forming a film having excellent water-resistance and waterproof adhesiveness on the surface of a fin material for a heat-exchanger.
SOLUTION: The surface treating agent contains (A) an epoxy-containing polyvinyl alcohol containing a vinyl alcohol unit, an epoxy-containing vinyl unit and an aliphatic vinyl ester unit and having a degree of polymerization of 300-3,300, a degree of saponification of ≥90 mol% and an epoxy-containing vinyl unit content of 0.2-12 mol%, (B) a carboxy-containing polyvinyl alcohol containing a vinyl alcohol unit, a carboxy-containing vinyl unit and an aliphatic vinyl ester unit and having a degree of polymerization of 300-3,300, a degree of saponification of ≥90 mol% and a carboxy-containing vinyl unit content of 0.2-12 mol% and (C) 0.05-5 pts. wt. (based on 100 pts. wt. of A+B) of a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 600-20,000.
