To provide a switch remote operation mechanism that makes it possible to easily and accurately attach a connecting cable to a switch body or an operator body.

The switch remote operation mechanism includes: a switch body 10 having a switch lever 111 projecting from a first and a second switch case 11, 210; an operator body 300 having an operating lever 341 projecting from a first and a second operator case 310, 400; and a connecting cable 501 for connecting the switch lever 111 of the switch body 10 and the operating lever 341 of the operator body 300 to both ends thereof. A switch mechanism 50 in the switch body 10 is remotely controlled as a pushing operating lever 333 of the operator body 300 is pushed. Cable retaining cases 370 for accommodating the connecting cable 501 are attached to both ends of the connecting cable 501. The cable retaining cases 370 are attached to the switch body 10 and the operator body 300 by snap-in engagement.
